Animatic

In this post i am going to be discussing animatics. An animatic is a moving story board it helps to show people the purpose of what your film is about it is normally seen as the draft version of a film. This basically makes an animated storyboard. This is a way in which producers or film makers show their ideas on how a film will be structured, transition and most importantly run. The best bit about this is you don't have to be artistic to make one of these its just a basic way of showing ideas you have created for a film.

I created an animatic which will be shown below. My animatic is the plan of an opening of a thriller so effects have been added such as sounds and music to give of the fact it is a thriller. This helps to demonstrate to class mates and give me and my group a good idea on what do do when filming and editing our thriller. I also used some transitions to give it a more interesting effect.
